Table Mountain Photo Tour
You are really excited about going on an African Photo Safari & Photographic Workshop, but you really want to see some more on Africa while you there, as it really seems like a great opportunity to see some of the other sights that South Africa has to offer. Why not add a few additional days and do one or more of our day trips in and around Cape Town.
A trip to Cape Town is not complete without going up Table Mountain, and the cable car is still the quickest and easiest way of doing so. See the best of Cape Town and take a trip to the top of Table Mountain.
The Cable Car
The two cable cars hold around 65 people each and actually revolve slowly, so no matter where you stand, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the area before you reach the top.
The Upper Cable Station stands on the western end of the mountain, affording visitors magnificent views of the city, Robben Island, Camps Bay, the rest of the mountain and the Twelve Apostles. There is an abundance of photo opportunities, a restaurant open throughout the day and a souvenir shop.
